Jennifer Lopez Talks ‘Idol,’ Her New Album and What She Thinks of Steven Tyler
It’s been a big week for Jennifer Lopez. Yesterday she released a new single, “Papi,” while People magazine called her “The Most Beautiful Woman In The World.” That’s in addition to her previous single “On The Floor” shooting into the top 10 – her best chart performance in nearly a decade. And of course, there’s that whole judging American Idol thing… Yes, Lopez is owning the pop-culture conversation again, and she seems pretty okay with that, as a conversation with the star at a Los Angeles Best Buy – where she was promoting the Blackberry Playbook tablet and the pre-order for her new album, Love?, due out May 3rd –about famous exes, going Gaga and fellow Idol judge Steven Tyler made abundantly clear.

Idoloonies: Jimmy Snubbed! Haley Redeemed! Stefano Reconsidered! And Randy Silenced!
On this week’s three-part installment of Idoloonies, my cohosts and I discuss the outcome of this uprising — both positive and negative — plus the results-night redemption of Haley Reinhart, the unfulfilled promise of Paul McDonald, and the advice that Idol‘s increasingly inept judges’ panel ought to be giving to Stefano Langone. Along the way, you’ll get bonus clips from Buffy and Community, some sweet music from “artist” Randy Jackson, and an interesting viewer theory on why Pia Toscano’s ouster may have had a chilling effect on the remaining crop of Idol wannabes.

Hey, ‘Idol’: Why not get rid of the judges for a week?
The “American Idol” judges this season are also the biggest fans of the contestants. They are setting the bar higher each week for how complimentary they can be to the remaining finalists, and the platitudes gush out like product-placement Coca-Cola from the soda fountain.
But while the feel-good style of rating the singers may allow everyone to go to bed with a clear conscience, it doesn’t seem to be the best way of judging the show.

Bo Bice brings country to Coach House
Season four contestant of “American Idol,” Bo Bice continues to sing and perform music for his fans while also trying to remain grounded and true to himself.
With a musical talent that Bice says he’s had all his life, he believes that there was not a time when he was not singing.
“I started with singing from a really young age,” Bice said. “My first bit of exposure was at 9 years old.”

Darren Criss’ Secret To Meeting Gwyneth Paltrow On ‘Glee’ Set: Dental Floss
“I had to kind of go out of my way to say hi because I was so star struck,” Darren told Access Hollywood on Tuesday as he promoted “Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers” album. “My character doesn’t go to the school. We’re doing our own other show, we shoot in a different area, different people, so I was on set once and I pretended to go get floss or something completely arbitrary [to bump into her]. ‘Oh, hi! [I’m] Darren. Gwyneth? Nice to meet you.’”
Despite their absence of on-screen time together, Darren said the Oscar winner is a joy to be around.
“She’s very sweet. She’s been very kind to me. She’s been very amazing,” he said.
