Idol Musings: Predictions For What The Top 8 Will Sing

I decided that putting all of my blog entries into one blog wasn't doing each subject justice.  So, therefore, I now have a new blog devoted entirely to American Idol. Hope you can follow along easier than ever before, and that you will feel more welcome to post your comments and your opinions.

Tonight the Top 8 on American Idol are performing Songs From Movies. This could be one of the best nights ever, or it could be a disaster.

@maskedscheduler has sorta spoiled some of the artists whose songs will be performed tonight:

Movie night on #IDOL.....Miley,George Strait, Blondie and Nat King Cole....pretty eclectic.

Seeing as four of the possible songs have been released, I predict that these songs will be performed tonight (4 of the 8 performances):

1) Miley Cyrus-"The Climb" from Hannah Montana: The Movie

Possibly being performed by Lauren Alaina

2) George Strait-"I Cross My Heart" from Pure Country

Possibly being performed by Scotty McCreery

3) Blondie-"Call Me" from American Gigolo

Possibly being performed by Haley Reinhart

4) Nat King Cole-"Mona Lisa" from Raging Bull

Possibly being performed by Casey Abrams

What The Other Four Contestants Will Possibly Be Singing

5) Whitney Houston-"I Will Always Love You" from The Bodyguard

Possibly being performed by Jacob Lusk

6) Roy Orbison-"Pretty Woman" from Pretty Woman

Possibly being performed by Paul McDonald

I have no clue what Stefano or James will be performing, so that's all you get for right now. As usual, I will be giving you a full and detailed recap of the performances tonight after the show ends at 9:30 PM tonight on the East Coast.

For those of you who want to watch tonight's episode, you can go to the page on this blog entitled "Watch American Idol".

D-Rizz Out!!!
